Here's A Simple Drill To Reduce Golf Swing Tension (so you hit the ball further!)

Here's A Simple Drill To Reduce Golf Swing Tension (so you hit the ball further!) Does this sound like you?...

You feel a lot of tension in your golf swing and you try to tell yourself to relax but the harder you try to do this the more tense you become. If this does sounds like you the first piece of advice is to not "try."

Why? Because trying creates tension in your golf swing so cut that "trying" out first because it's costing you distance and accuracy. Next you should go out to your driving range and simply hit balls while humming quietly to yourself.

When you're doing this focus on your humming and notice if it stops or changes pitch at any time during your golf swing. Just keep hitting balls focusing on your humming with the goal of swinging without the hum changing pitch or volume from the moment you start swinging to the end of your golf swing.

But please don't "try" to achieve this. Simply keep swinging and focusing on your humming, and soon without you noticing the "whys" or "hows" your golf swing will become more rhythmical and less tense.

Once your golf swing is more in tune with your natural rhythm you want to keep it that way. Do this by having a few golf swings each day while quietly humming to yourself.

Doing this will help you to have a golf swing with less tension and consequently you'll hit the ball further and more consistently.

The Golf Swing Speed Challenge Review The Golf Swing Speed Challenge was designed by Alex Gairdner.

Golf

The Golf Swing Speed Challenge Review The Golf Swing Speed Challenge was designed by Alex Gairdner. Alex is a British sports scientist who designed this program to help himself to increase his swing speed.
Alex has a lot of letters after his name (i.e. BSc(Hons) Physio, Acup. ACP, BSc(Hons) SpSc) I'm not sure what they all mean, but it appears he has a lot of credentials to design a sports fitness program.

But the thing I like about this is that Alex doesn't only walk the walk but he talks the talk...in terms of results. Alex has said that he created this program to help himself swing faster, and then he videod his swing speed before he started it and found his swing speed was 93.8 mph. Then 56 days after completing the program he retested his swing speed and found that his swing speed was then 114 mph.

As Alex reminds us, for every 1 mph of swing speed increase a golfer gains about 2 - 2.5 yards. Alex has used 2.2 yards to workout that he gained 44.3 yards in distance. Now that's impressive distance gains in just 56 days! After learning about Alex's personal distance gains I wanted to take this golf swing speed challenge for myself.

When I did I found the exercises very easy to do, in terms of what they were. There's no complicated exercises and you can do them all at home. To be honest, because I hadn't worked out in a while I found the exercises a bit tough on my body at first, but as I kept doing them it got easier and easier and I started to feel great.

And really, I can't fault the challenge there... it's a good way to get me exercising regularly again. I personally thought it was great how you could do all the exercises at home and you didn't need to buy expensive equipment. All the way through the challenge I was checking my swing speed and at first I didn't notice any improvement, which I think was because my body was adjusting.

Then after a couple of weeks I noticed about a 5 mph improvement and then I kept on getting faster and faster until at the end of the program I had a 14 mph improvement. That works out to be 30 yards added to my shots. This has made golf so much more fun for me. I'm back to hitting par 5's in two and getting a lot closer to the green on par 4's. But one of the biggest benefits of going through this program is my swing feels so much easier.

Even though I'm swinging faster it feels easier. Also I don't feel in pain anymore when I'm swinging. And I'm swinging about 80 - 90% on my driver swing so it's the same as I was swinging before, but it's so much faster now. I have done many other things to try to improve my swing speed like yoga, static stretches etc. but none of those things helped increase my swing speed. After doing this the results speak for themselves.

So if you want to hit the ball further I can't recommend this highly enough. To find out more go to visite consistentgolf.com

 Overall Opinion:

Highly Recommended Asked If He's Been Taking Lessons... "I have been using your Swing Speed Program for about 6 weeks now. I must admit that due to a rather heavy work schedule I have not been as diligent as I would like, but have not missed that many days of workout and stretching.

To give you a short background, I am 55 years of age and started playing golf when I was 6 years old. I am 6'3" and weigh 205lbs. so I am not in bad shape, just a little extra around the middle. My handicap fluctuates between 1 and 3. As I write this my index is 1.4. I play 90-110 rounds per year in southern Ontario, Canada, a 7-8 month season. I have just started the advanced program, so, everything in this writing pertains to the basic part of the program.

The first thing I noticed when I started was how out of shape I really was. As you indicated in the program I did indeed some minor pain from muscles that I had not been using that often. This did pass after about a week of working out. As each week went by I could feel a difference in amount of flexibility I had. I now have about 25% more flex, especially in the shoulders.

I am confident that will increase even more with the advanced section and I look forward to continuing the program. Now here's what's really got me excited: I have never been too concerned about how far anyone I play with hits the ball, although a few of the boys I play with are. My mid to short irons and putting have always been fairly good and I score well enough to maintain my handicap and be competitive. There's always a few dollars on the line.

Over the last 4 weeks I have definitely seen an increase in my distance. Currently I am about 12 yards longer off the tees than I was before starting the 'Golf Swing Speed' program. Even the fellows I play with have noticed and are asking me if I've been taking lessons. As nice as this extra yardage is, what's really exciting is the effect this has had on my irons. Before starting the program I was hitting my 9 iron 135 yards average.

This is with no wind. Obviously when I hit it perfectly, which we all know is the exception not the rule, it will go about 8 or so yards further, but, the average is what I play with. The increased length with the driver should require me to hit 1 less club into greens, so I thought.

This was not however the case. I found that I actually needed 2 less clubs because 1 less put me 8-10 yards past the pins. It seemed rather obvious that the program was working with all my clubs, however I wanted to be sure. I determine my yardages on the course later in the evening when the place is deserted.

I hit about 25 balls with each club and GPS the yardage. I disregard the 5 best and the 5 worst. What's left is a good reflection of average distance for any particular club. I will do this twice annually, spring and summer.

This past week, mid October and about 60 degrees, I rechecked my yardages. To my great pleasure they have all increased by a 10 yard average as well. This, in my mind, can only be due to the Swing Speed program because that is the only variable since checking them in the summer. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be hitting 9 irons instead of 7's, wedges instead of 8's and even better bringing our 5 pars into range to be on in 2 instead of 3.

I need to hit 2 perfect shots but at least it's now possible. I am looking forward to continuing the Golf Swing Speed workouts and checking my distances in the spring again. I'll let you know, if you like, what the numbers are.

Thank you again for the program." P.S. Please keep those swing speed drills coming. I really enjoy them. P.P.S. I've decided I'll let my buddies in on my secret next time we play. If they don't get your program that'll be better for me because their money looks pretty good in my wallet!" Mark Hunermund, Canada

PGA Tour Player’s Golf Swing Secret Can Now Be Tested

PGA Tour Player’s Golf Swing Secret Can Now Be Tested

Valley Cottage, USA – It has been discovered that there is one big swing difference between PGA Tour players and amateur golfers swings.  And Jeff Richmond now has a golf swing test so that amateur golfers can test to see if they are swinging like a PGA Tour player in this one critical aspect or not.

According to Jeff Richmond, owner of The Golf Swing Test “if a golfer fails the golf swing test it can be costing them up to 50 yards in distance, causing them to greatly lack accuracy and stop golfers from having any sort of golfing consistency.”

This one main golf swing difference was discovered after spending many hours analyzing and comparing the swings of PGA Tour players golf swings, and amateur golfers swings.  The golf swing test was then created so that every amateur golfer could quickly find out how their swing compares to that of a top professional golfer.

“It’s common knowledge that the average golfer has not improved their handicap over the last 30 years — even with all the improvements in equipment, course maintenance and golf instruction technology. And after discovering this one golf swing fault that most amateur golfers suffer from, I believe it’s one of the main reasons why most average golfers don’t improve as much as they’d like.” says Jeff Richmond.

Here's 1 Thing To Help You Take Your Range Game To The Golf Course...

Here's 1 Thing To Help You Take Your Range Game To The Golf Course...

Here's 1 Thing To Help You Take Your Range Game To The Golf Course...

Below is a very important tip from Jeff Richmond that will help you take your range game to the golf course. Before I give you that however, Jeff has recently released a new Mental Golf Mastery program and you can find out more about that by going here.

Ok, here's how to take your range game to the golf course...

One common questions I oftent get asked is...

"I hit it great on the range but can't take that to the golf course. Got any tips to help with this?"

This is such a common problem and the reason why this happens is so simple...

On the range there's no consequence for a bad shot. So on the range you're not worried about slicing it because there's no O.B. to the right for example. You're not worried about hitting the ball well to carry water because there is none... You get the idea.

On the golf course you only get 1 shot and each shot matters. And when you're standing on a tee with O.B. on the right and water to the left it can cause panic. But there is one very simple thing you can do to help you in these situations, and that's this...

When you're on the golf course, imagine you're hitting a shot on the driving range. Pick a target you want to hit your shot to but don't look at all the trouble. Instead, get over your ball and imagine you're on the range.

Now that advice raises an important point.

I said to pick a target you want to hit your shot to. But if you don't do that on the driving range then you're wasting your time following this advice. Because you can imagine yourself on the range as much as you want, but if you're not in the habit of picking out targets to hit your shots to when you practice then naturally this is not going to transfer over to the golf course.

On the golf course you also need to trust your swing and commit to the process of hitting the shot. A good thing to help you do that is to imagine you're a robot hitting a shot. Because imagine a robot hitting a shot with out of bounds down one side, a robot is not going to be nervous about that. Instead, they just aim at a target and hit to the target, without emotion.

Emotion is a big reason why golfers can't take their range game to the golf course. Hit a bad shot on the range and it's no big deal. You just whack another ball. But hit a bad shot on the golf course and the world is about to end. When playing golf you need to try to take negative emotions out of shots.

This is why professional golfers often seem so emotionless. It's because they have learned to play shots without the fear of consequence hanging over them.

They just select a target and swing.... like a robot.

So try these tips the next time you're on the golf course, and I'm sure you'll find that you swing more freely yet hit the ball straighter. I hope that helps you.

That simple mental game tip was from Jeff Richmond. And the next time you play golf, give it a try because I'm sure it will help you to score lower. Not Helpful Golf Advice

 Not Helpful Golf Advice

Below is a very important tip from Jeff Richmond that will help you improve your mental game. Everyone knows that golf is 90% mental so use this simple tip and see your scores drop. This tip is from Jeff Richmond and Jeff has recently released a new Mental Golf Mastery program and you can find out more about that by going here.

Now here is the tip from Jeff on how you can simply improve your mental game...

How often on the golf course do you give yourself advice that is not helpful?

For example...

"Don't hit it over to the right, there's big trouble over there"

"Don't miss this short putt because you'll look like an idiot!"

"Don't chunk this pitch shot in the bunker"

"Don't 3 putt... again!"

"Don't...

Are any of those thoughts helpful?

Of course they're not!

But we golfers let those thoughts invade our minds - and our scores show it!

So here's something to try the next time you play golf. Be aware of your thoughts going through your mind.

And when you notice thoughts that aren't helpful, simply say to yourself in your head...

"not helpful".

Then replace the "not helpful" thought with a positive one or at the very lest a neutral one. For example....

If you've got a 50 foot putt and you notice yourself say something like "I'll probably 3 putt this". Say to yourself "not helpful" and then replace that statement with something like this... "It's possible I, can get this putt close to the hole".

Because that is possible, right?

If you do this type of mental reframing consistently you'll shoot lower scores without spending one extra bit of time practicing.

Mental

Now that's a good return on investment!

So as the old Nike ad used to say..."Just do it!"

That simple mental game tip was from Jeff Richmond. And the next time you play golf, give it a try because I'm sure it will help you to score lower. Now Jeff has a complete step-by-step program that will help you to replicate the mental processes that golf pros go through when they play golf. It's a great program, so go here to check it out now:

Here's 1 Instant Golf Confidence Tip/Trick...

Here's 1 Instant Golf Confidence Tip/Trick

 Here's 1 Instant Golf Confidence Tip/Trick...

It's   with a simple mental game tip that could transform your golf game for the better. This tip is from Jeff Richmond who is the creator of the Mental Golf Mastery that you can see here.

So here's the mental tip from Jeff...

Golf Confidence.

When you have it, you score low.

When you don't have it, you score high.

It really is a crucial aspect needed for you to score low.

But the thing is....

How do you have golf confidence all the time?

Well, here's a little simple trick for you.

Smile.

When you smile you can't be angry, right?

Your body is pre-programmed to feel happy when you smile.

Your body is also programmed that if you move a certain way (displaying confidence) then you're more likely to feel confident.

Imagine for a moment....

You've just hit a golf shot and it was a shocker. How would you walk??

Now imagine...

You've just hit a great golf shot. How would you walk after that shot??

Obviously you're going to walk differently after a great shot. So how can you use that to hit more great shots and be more confident?

Well, before every golf shot you need to make a conscious effort to move your body as though you've just hit a great shot.

Don't wait until you've hit a great golf shot to move your body confidently. Your body sends signals to your brain depending on how you move it, e.g. if you smile you'll feel happy.

So the next time you play golf, or even just practicing, move your body with confidence BEFORE each shot. Pretend you're moving your body as though you've just hit a great shot, and see your results.

I'm sure you'll find that you'll hit better shots and lower your scores.

That mental game tip was from Jeff Richmond and if you would like even more help with your mental game so you can replicate the mental processes the top golf pros use. Go here to find out more about Jeff's great step-by-step Mental Golf Mastery program...
